Our Intentions
To participate in the rising and resistance of 2Spirit & Indigiqueer humans as we step into our power and healing. Pîsimoyapiy Wellness Services centers culturally relevant counseling and consultation rooted in Indigenous Ways of Knowing.
Together we can:
Create safety and opportunity for honest storytelling and meaning making.
Find meaning for the stories you hold in a way that resonates and makes sense for you.
Give Indigenous, Indigiqueer, and other racialized humans a space to connect, heal, & step into their power.
The time has come for our women, girls, and 2 spirit humans to rise up in power as we continue the resistance of erasure.

Counselling
As a 2Spirit Trans person Alyjah understands the various nuances, specific needs and barriers that impact our community members in receiving mental health care. They primarily work with people over the age of 16 years old and who identify within the Indigenous and/or 2SLGBTQ+ communities.
Alyjah is accepting new clients for 1:1 counseling. As space in Mohkinstsis, Treaty 7 Territory (Calgary, AB) is secured, more information about in person services will be shared. Virtual service options are available for people living within the province of Alberta.
Their hourly counseling rate is $200/one-hour session.
Sessions are covered by most insurance plans; direct billing is not available.

Consulting
Alyjah works directly with educational institutions, agencies, & other service providers to continue building systems & facilitating healing through the integration of parallel paths between Indigenous & Eurocentric worldviews.
Healing is an on-going process that requires humility and continuous learning. Alyjah actively participates in creating spaces where this healing & learning can occur within our communities.
Alyjah is currently accepting new collaborations with post-secondary institutions, nonprofits, and other organization.
Their hourly consulting rate is $200/one-hour session.

Knowledge Sharing & Teaching
Alyjah is available to provide knowledge sharing and teaching through the means of guest lectures, workshops, and group facilitation.
They are a seasoned public speaker with over ten years of experience creating spaces for learning in settings such as universities & colleges, junior high & high schools, mental health services, and non-profit organizations. They are currently booking for the 2023 calendar year.
